The Star Vocal Competition returns for Season 6 with its Adult Division, bringing some of the region’s most exciting vocal talent to Uptown for a live, four-week competition.
Each week, contestants will take the stage before a panel of accomplished music and entertainment industry professionals as they compete for cash prizes, performance opportunities, and the title of Season 6 Champion. Audiences will experience powerhouse vocals, unforgettable performances, audience participation, and the excitement of watching talented artists grow, take risks, and compete for their place in the next round.
More than a singing competition, The Star is dedicated to celebrating and developing emerging artists while connecting them with industry professionals and new audiences. Previous contestants have gone on to perform at the Apollo Theater, appear on American Idol, tour nationally, perform on Broadway, and pursue professional careers in the entertainment industry.
With live performances, industry judges, eliminations, and thousands of dollars in prizes on the line, every week brings something new to the Uptown stage!
