At Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Studio, our focus is on the individual – as part of the group. We help our students move forward through their emotional and developmental journey – and build strong acting skills. The growth is process oriented and integrated with fun, because we all learn more when we are having fun. Our educators are talented professionals with exceptional teaching skills. You will see the result of highly effective teachers who foster a fun and nurturing environment on stage at our class performances and shows.
Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Studio is a community-wide acting and musical theater school. Our teachers are experienced professional actors and provide a high-caliber performing arts education to students of all ages and abilities from Chester County, Delaware County, Wilmington and Philadelphia. Students gain confidence and are encouraged to take risks in a fun, nurturing and safe environment.
