The mission of Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center is to promote cultural, economic and civic life experiences in our community through live theater, music, dance, film and other events in the heart of West Chester’s Historic District.

Established in 2017, featuring world class performing arts in historic downtown West Chester, Uptown! offers Broadway style theatre, opera, jazz, comedy, classical and contemporary music, film and renowned speakers, not to mention our award winning performing arts education classes and workshops for youth and adults.
