Super Storytellers, Saturdays, Ages 3-K

Big imaginations start here! Every class is a new adventure as our youngest performers explore theatre through storytelling, music, movement, and creative play. Students become explorers, pirates, magical creatures, superheroes, and more while building confidence, communication skills, friendships, and a love of performing.
Final Performance on last day of class at 9:30 AM.

Broadway Kiddos Wednesdays, Grades K-2
Sing. Dance. Shine.
Calling all future Broadway stars! Through songs, theatre games, beginner choreography, and acting activities, students build confidence while learning the fundamentals of musical theatre in a welcoming environment where every child has a chance to shine.
Performers in the fall session will perform in the Holiday Cheer Concerts at Uptown on the main stage on Friday, December 4th at 5:00 PM and Saturday, December 5 at 1:00 PM.
Cost: Members – $270, Non-Members – $310 | Day: Wednesday | Time: 4:30 – 6:00 PM

FUNdamentals of Theatre, Grades 1-2

Students discover the excitement of acting through improvisation, theatre games, storytelling, and scene work. In this energetic class, every student finds room to grow, building creativity, confidence, teamwork, and communication skills while learning what it means to work together as a group.
Final Performance on last day of class at 10:00 AM.

Students develop stronger acting skills through character work, scene study, improvisation, and ensemble storytelling. Along the way, they learn to make confident choices on stage, collaborate as a group, and bring stories to life through creativity and teamwork.
Final Performance on last day of class at 11:00 AM.

Acting Academy 1, Monday, Grades 3-4

Singing Academy, Grades 2-4
Find Your Voice.
Young performers build healthy vocal technique, musical expression, and stage presence in this supportive class. Working with a professional music director and live piano accompaniment, students develop both solo and group singing skills in a fun, encouraging environment.
Performers in the fall session will perform in the Holiday Cheer Concerts at Uptown on the main stage on Friday, December 4th at 5:00 PM and Saturday, December 5 at 1:00 PM.

Classes: If you withdraw from a class up to four weeks before the start date, you will receive a credit for the full registration amount, minus a $25 processing fee. This credit can be applied to a future Uptown Studio class or camp. No credits or refunds will be issued after this period. Credits are valid only for Uptown Studio classes and camps and cannot be used for performance tickets at Uptown.
Credits are good for up to one year from date of issue.
Returned Checks: A $45 fee will apply to any returned checks.
Please note: Uptown Studio does not issue refunds. Credits towards future classes or camps are the only form of compensation offered.
