the heartbeat of Brazil while honoring the musical landscapes Caro has explored during
nearly two decades in the United States.
With her all-star band, Caro invites audiences to travel with her – from the
southern roots of Rio Grande do Sul to the vibrant scenes of Los Angeles – sharing
original songs and fresh interpretations of beloved classics like Girl from Ipanema,
Killing Me Softly, and Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You, sung in both English and
Portuguese.
As Caro puts it, “I think of my show as a trip – it takes you to Brazil for a while,
while weaving in the musical textures I’ve absorbed here in the U.S.”
