2025 SUMMER CAMPS
Please review the important information below to ensure everything goes smoothly for you and your performer
First Day Arrival:
Please enter through the front doors of the Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center 10-15 minutes before camp begins. We’ll welcome your performer, confirm their contact details, and provide a brief tour of our facilities. This is a great opportunity for parents to ask any questions before the camp starts. For the rest of the camp days, please refer to the regular drop-off instructions below.
Drop-off and Pick-up Instructions:
For all summer Camps, please drop off AND pick up your performer in the back alley.
To easily find the back alley of the Uptown Performing Arts Center, face the theatre on High Street, take the alley on the left side of the building, and follow it down until you see a right-hand alley leading to the rear of the center.
For pickup, please drive to the end of the alley, pull up as close as possible to the car in front of you, and remain in your vehicle. We will safely bring your performer to you.
Pick-up will take place in the same alley where you dropped off your performer. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will be with you shortly. You’re also welcome to enter through the front entrance and ask the Box Office for the location of the Extended Day group.
Pick-up times are as follows:
Full-day camps: between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM
Half-day camps: between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
Snack & Lunch Information:
Please pack snacks, drinks and a non-refrigerated lunch for your performer each day.
What To Wear:
For safety and ease of movement, please do not send your performer in flip-flops. Comfortable, flexible clothing and closed-toe shoes are encouraged so they can move freely and fully participate in all activities.

If you need to reach us during the camp day, please call the Camp Phone at 610-299-1985. This number is monitored between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM only.

Classes: If you withdraw from a class up to two weeks before the start date, you will receive a credit for the full registration amount, minus a $20 processing fee. This credit can be applied to a future Uptown Studio class or camp. No credits or refunds will be issued after this period. Credits are valid only for Uptown Studio classes and camps and cannot be used for performance tickets at Uptown.
Summer Camps: If you withdraw before May 15, you will receive a credit for the full registration amount, minus a $50 processing fee, to be applied to a future Uptown Studio class or camp. After May 15, no credits or refunds will be issued. Credits are valid only for Uptown Studio classes and camps and cannot be used for performance tickets at Uptown.
Returned Checks: A $45 fee will apply to any returned checks.
Please note: Uptown Studio does not issue refunds. Credits towards future classes or camps are the only form of compensation offered.
