Three films. One unforgettable journey. Meet Nate Seagraves like never before.
Join us for the first-ever screening of The Nate Seagraves Trilogy—a heartfelt series of coming-of-age short films that explore friendship, independence, and identity through the eyes of Nate Seagraves, a young man with intellectual disabilities navigating post-high school life.
Created by filmmaker Alex Nicoletti, these three films—My First Shot, A Date with a Loved One, and the award-winning Hi! Neighbor—offer an honest and moving portrayal of self-discovery. The trilogy was inspired by Alex’s high school friendship with a student who has Down syndrome, and a desire to tell stories that reflect the real-world experiences of people often underrepresented in film.
Nate, a graduate of Rustin High School and a proud participant in the WCU RAM Initiative, now works at West Chester University and runs his own photography business. His passion and personality shine in every frame.
Don’t miss this powerful night of storytelling, celebrating inclusion, growth, and the beauty of finding your own way in the world.
