“ …the music and lyricism are outstanding. Congratulations on producing a unique and tasteful contribution to original music.” ~ Jeff Duperon WRTI 90.1FM
The Jazz Cocktail Hour with Sara Michaels presents:
Gina Roche Swing N’ Sway
sponsored by Dorset Connects

The Jazz Cocktail Hour is back for our fall season and we are kicking up the stage with some tap dancing as the award winning Southern NJ jazz vocalist Gina Roche plays along with her quartet. Singing straight from her soul Gina will illuminate the stage with joy, laughter, some tears and stories to be told. Her message is quite clever in just what she will be Singing, Swinging and Swaying too.
Just as you are ” Beginning to See the Light” you’ll arrive at “The Mambo Inn”, “Just in Time” to ask “Dat Dere” as you ” Fly Me to the Moon” and walk upon the ” Highwire” with a few swinging original compositions and a tap dance or two, this maybe an evening that may end with a ” Besame Mucho” or two!

GINA ROCHÉ, known for her exciting live performances, imbues a Brazilian twist into her unique blend of jazz, blues, pop and original compositions. Her compositions draw upon many genres of music, life experience, love, and the human experience.

In the music scene for over 35 years, Gina has toured the UK, Japan, the U.S.,The Grand Cayman Islands and Aruba and has performed on Good Morning America and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. The Gina Roche Quartet opened for McCoy Tyner at Kennedy Plaza for the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts.
Gina has performed as guest artist in concert and on WRTI “live” with Gerald Veasley’s Electric Mingus Project.
Her music has also been featured in concert with Gina and a live orchestra performing one of her original compositions at The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.
