CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancel your place in class 1 week prior to the beginning of classes for a full refund minus a $50 processing fee. No refund will be given after that. Returned Checks: $45 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Super Storytellers, Ages 3-K

Remember the pre-internet age? Where kids were never “plugged in”? Where kids could be kids, get lost in stories, explore the world around them freely and play pretend? This is the class designed for kids to be kids, all while being led by theater professionals. This is a return to the world of imagination!

Broadway Kiddos, Grades K-2

Singing, Dancing, Acting and Fun! That is what this high energy beginner musical theater class is all about. Students discover healthy singing habits and explore cool dance combinations, all while creating a character for each song. Performers will perform in the Holiday Cheer Concert on the main stage at the Knauer Performing Arts Center for the Fall session. The winter sessions performers will have a final performance on the final day of class at 5:30 pm.

FUNdamentals of Theatre, Grades K-2

Is your child a performer at heart? Or, is your child shy? In “FUNdamentals of Theatre,” all types of students excel as we work as a team and as individuals to develop a staged story, with characters that students create, while in a safe, fun, judgment-free zone. Let our theatre professionals guide your children as they discover the FUNdamentals of Theatre!

Acting Academy, Saturday, Grades 3-4

This on-your-feet, team building, high energy, creative-thinking class is for any student who likes to have fun while taking on a challenge. Performers will use improvisation, theater games and exercises, to help develop their characters and use their imagination for their final performance of a short play.

Singing Academy, Grades 2-4

Singing, Dancing, Acting and Fun! That is what this high energy musical theater class is all about. Performers create a cabaret-style concert which is performed on the main stage at the Knauer Performing Arts Center at our Holiday Concert (winter session: Future Stars Gala). Work with a Professional Singer/Actor/Dancer and a Professional Musical Director.

All classes and concerts are accompanied by our Musical Director, giving students the opportunity to learn how to lead an accompanist.

Youth Improvisation, Grades 4-6

Let your performer discover the joys of improv by utilizing their own innate sense of play, curiosity and authenticity. Through coaching, exercises, creative games and short-form scenes, students will learn how to be more spontaneous, trusting and cooperative. These skills will not only help your performer as an actor but also at school in learning how to connect with people socially. This class is all about jumping in, having fun, playing hard, working together and finding your voice.
