International vocalist Denise King brings her timeless voice and magnetic stage presence back to the Uptown stage. She breathes life into classic and contemporary jazz, standards and blues songs. From sultry ballads to swinging tunes, the show paints a vivid picture of the amazing women who blazed a trail for so many.

Denise King invites the audience into her world, blending her personal touch with the timeless stories about these “Legendary Ladies”.  Her warmth and charisma make every performance feel personal and unforgettable. This will be a joyful  journey down memory lane, celebrating the women who contributed so much to the musical landscape. Joined by Ms. King will be musical director and band leader Aaron Graves and his quartet.
