Steve Koelsch is the author of four books of poetry, Crossing the River of Denial, Penumbra, The Cold Wick, and Dancing Bare. He has had numerous poems published in regional and national magazines, and anthologies, including Heartlands, Mobius, and Bear River Review. Steve is also an accomplished visual artist, using the unique medium of clay monoprinting.

Clay monoprints are unique and colorful one-of-a-kind prints. A flat clay slab is inlaid with clay slip using various techniques. The final image is printed on a material called Reemay, a man made synthetic. After drying an oil based fixative is applied to seal the print, resulting in a color-fast water proof print that will maintain its vibrancy for a lifetime.
