Samuel E. Olshin, FAIA

About the Artist

Samuel E. Olshin, FAIA, is a principal in Atkin Olshin Schade Architects of Philadelphia, PA and Santa Fe, NM. The twenty-five person firm specializes in a wide variety of institutional projects including university, museum, school, hospitality, and religious commissions. Clients include the University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth College, Bryn Mawr College, Lehigh University, Lafayette College, Hamilton College, Pennsylvania State University, Princeton University, the Loomis Chaffee School, and the Episcopal Academy. Mr. Olshin received a BA and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. While a student, he received the E. Lewis Dales Traveling Fellowship, the Arthur Spayd Brooke Bronze Medal, and the Paul Phillipe Cret Thesis Medal.

He is a past recipient of the Philadelphia Chapter AIA Young Architect Award, and has served as architectural critic at Temple University, Drexel University, Philadelphia University, Villanova University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Since 1989, Mr. Olshin has served as Senior Visiting Studio Critic for the Introduction to Architectural Design course in the Growth & Structure of Cities Department at Bryn Mawr College. Mr. Olshin is a member and exhibitor at the Philadelphia Sketch Club, is on the Board of MuralArts Philadelphia, and has exhibited at Gallery 222 and Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia.

Please come any time between 6 - 8pm. Space is limited. In order to keep everyone safe and adhere to CDC and PA guidelines, masks must be worn except when enjoying your beverage or snack.
No more than 6 people will be allowed in the Foxhole Bar & Lounge at a time. We ask that you limit your viewing to 20 minutes at a time so that everyone has an opportunity to share in the experience.
We encourage everyone to tour our beautiful theater as you wait to go into the bar to view the artwork.
