NEW! Vaccine and Mask Policy

Our top priority is the safety of our audience, artists, staff, and volunteers, and we appreciate your support as we continue to be guided by that goal. THANK YOU!

Effective Immediately (April 27, 2022), Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center will no longer require proof of vaccination, masks, or a negative COVID test to attend a performance or class at our venue.

Uptown! reserves the right to adjust this policy should conditions warrant, in line with evolving CDC recommendations or if mandated by union rules or policies. Rentals may still opt to enforce their own mitigation efforts despite the relaxation of our policies.

Although we have removed all requirements, patrons are strongly encouraged to continue to wear masks for their own comfort and peace of mind and Uptown! will have adult masks available at no charge.

We encourage you to consult with your doctor if you have specific questions related to your situation. We are monitoring important information here, and invite you to also access this resource. We may update our policy accordingly. For additional questions, please call us at 610.356.ARTS (2787).

We are continuing our commitment to exemplary safety practices and have:

  • Updated our HVAC system, which cleans and sanitizes the air on a continuous basis.
  • Installed hand sanitizing stations throughout the building.
  • Trained our employees on proper processes to comply with COVID protocols including sanitization of the theater before and after performances.
  • Made free masks available to all patrons and guests.
