Uptown! is embarking on a $500,000 campaign to sustain our operations during the shutdown. With 72% of our annual budget coming from ticket sales and space rentals, we are facing a challenge to our financial well-being and incurring debt that will hamper our future success.
This ambitious, yet attainable goal, will ensure that our curtains will not only open again to inspire audiences, but will also bring us all together again.
Before the COVID-19 virus upended our circumstances - as it has for so many - and clouded our future, we welcomed over 35,000 people and sold over 100,000 tickets to more than 500 live performance events.
Now we are asking for your help in meeting the challenge that Uptown faces.
